I had Kisscut in my bag ready to start the moment I had finished Blindsighted - I was eagerly anticipating starting another Karin Slaughter book.....

I therefore found the recaps boring and unnecessary and I didn't understand why so much was written about Lena - may be this will be something that will bite us on the bum in a later book!

It seemed to take an age to get going. I will say I thought the author dealt with the subject matter sensitively and as in other books painted a very good picture without saying very much. Low stars from me on this occasion. Have to say that had I known where the book was headed then I probably would have given it a miss.
