There is trouble at Pirate School when the food store gets raided by the Woppagobs! The head teacher, Patagonia Clatterbottom is furious and decides to teach the class how to fight like proper pirates and rescue their stolen food. But things go horribly wrong when the Woppagobs kidnap the children. This is a brilliant book for readers aged 5-7. The characters names are very witty and children of this age will love to hear this story being read out loud. The text in this book is fairly large and the illustrations are extremely well suited to the story and very funny. It teaches an important lesson of working together to achieve a greater outcome. This could be used in a cross curricular lesson on sharing and working together.
