** spoiler alert ** I liked this book. It was a fast read with an interesting writing style. I enjoyed the message of the book that we need to stop spending so much time focusing on our future and be happy with our present. I loved that King and Sam showed that you could be satisfied with simpler jobs like temp jobs, because they give you variety and freedom.

There were two aspects I did not like about the book. The first was that Sam did not tell David off when he came crawling back to her. I feel like she needed to do that for closure, to show that she is no longer a push-over. The other is that King is forced to lose weight in order to be seen as attractive by Sam. Berg doesn't seem to think that the readers will believe that Sam could fall for King because he is over-weight, even though he is an incredible person who truly loves Sam. I wish she didn't have to try and make him "perfect" to be good enough.
