While not intended to be factual, I appreciated the many themes that Card touches upon as he retells the story of Moses. I observed many parallel themes in my own life: how God does not makes choices for any one, yet guides our lives so that we can help to accomplish His purposes if we are humble; how trials can help to reveal our weakness and lead to humility, thus allowing God to magnify our strengths.
