This is an excellent book. Regardless of your political philosophy, you're drawn into the story. Excellent pace and build-up. Story unfolds as a narritive told by a Pakistani to an American tourist over a meal at a cafe in Pakistan, post-9/11. It's a bit of an American-basher, but it's eye-opening. I have to recommend it as really good contemporary fiction.
