A good story, difficult to write posthumously, I imagine. The author put the pieces together from interviews and documents. Some of the early information is tedious and it would have flowed better if she had taken some license and written some speculative dialogue. A tragic story, no matter. The descriptions of the conditions of the camp at Bergen-Belsen and the trains that transported Anne and her sister there were so unbelieveably horrible, it was difficult to grasp.
