Animal Farm is a highly symbolic fable about a rebellion and the corruption of leaders and the Orwellian theme of questioning the facts you're told, events, and the world around you.
I wish I could give it a higher rating. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice political piece but in my eyes, way too predictable and lecturing to be fascinating as a story.
I still enjoyed it for what it is and I'm happy that I finally got to read it.

San I wonder if the book has aged well. The things Orwell were commenting on may no longer apply in our modern society. Political criticism can look dated a lot of the time. I like that he used animals to deliver the criticism though.
