This book was interesting, though violent. Incredibly lyrical I would have preferred to read it in Spanish (though I would first have to up my knowledge of the language!) The evils of fascism are illustrated through the transformation of the President's "favorite" as he finds love in the daughter of one of the president's "enemies".
