really liked it
Read from September 11 to 25, 2011

This collection of three stories was very good. I especially liked Noon Wine. I was really struck by the behavior of the hired hand and the mother who couldn't leave him alone. A story of attempted redemption thwarted by a well-meaning action makes this short story meaningful. The last story, Pale Horse, Pale Rider was moving and painted a picture of love, independence, caring, and how we can give everything we have to someone. Is it the right thing to do? It can be.
