Ahhh, the early 19th century Nobel Prize winning French authors. The phraseology, vocabulary, sentence patterns, etc.,... it's interesting how language has evolved. But, yeah, Duh! du Gard is the 2nd of these chaps I've read, the first being Romain Rolland (and his awesomely epic "Jean Cristophe".)

This time I'm going with a similar figure, though 15 years younger. I'm only 1/10th into it, and it's good, though I'm not whipped by it the way i was with Jean Cristophe.

But there's plenty of time, yet...
