Ever since her father's illness, Eugenia Paxton has been used to wearing breeches and working at her father's shipyard just like a man. When English nobleman Alec Carrick arrives to purchase the Baltimore shipyard, she can't stand the man who's about to take away her shipyard. While the beginning promises a wonderful love-hate relationship, the transition to true love is awfully abrupt and unsatisfying, leaving way too many things unexplained.
