Complicated story of a pair of brothers, raised in an orphanage, who are separated by the killing of a bully there. The weaker one is adopted to a life of luxury, but is haunted by his past. The stronger one is adopted to a life of crime, which he tries to exit when he falls in love; however, his adoptive brother and the family enforcer are after him in vengeance. A story of abandonment, betrayal, political intrigue, and power. Quite well done -- well worth reading.
