I lost my little sister to a car crash 3 years ago... so reading books like this is therapeutic and painful at the same time. But this one was different from others I have read because the main character in this book is so complex, her grief isn't just tears and pain, it's a confusing web of lust, betrayal, and love. I loved the way the author showed the MC's writings, that was really beautiful. I only gave the book 3 stars because I just could not get into it. I guess I just really didn't like what the MC was doing so I was detached from the story a bit. Also, it started to get a little ... dry towards the end so I just was not "wowed" by it at all.
