Nothing too new here...and Orenstein doesn't seem sure, even at the conclusion, of how she plans to rear her daughter. The book offers good cultural commentary and "food for thought," if you will, but again, nothing revolutionary. Orenstein's title and prose convinced me to read her book; however, Orenstein's observations didn't convince me to dismiss Cinderella or to ban pink from my home.
