The Sookie Stackhouse Companion is a must read for any fan of not just the books, but of True Blood as well. The absolute best part, is at the end of each book synopsis, there are the secret communications between Eric and Bill. OMG laugh out loud funny, captures them so well. Phone, mail and email conversations that might not add anything to the individual stories but are definitely a nice addition.

The book starts out with a new Sookie short story, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Along with detailed synopsis' of each books, you also get a list of all the short stories/novellas and the order they should be read, and more.

If you're a compulsive collector, like me you'll definitely want to add this to your Sookie shelf. At the very least go to the library and borrow it, fans of the tv show will get more insight and fans of the books will enjoy the recap.
