A great story about three unlikely heroes; Connor, Risa and Lev who are faced with "Unwinding"-a process developed in the not-too-distant future in which parts of a young persons body are dis-assembled and dispersed throughout the rest of the population. You are technically still alive, but your body is not your own...pieces of you live other people. Connor and Risa are runaways, and thus must try to survive until their 18th birthday. Lev has known his whole life that he was going to be unwound. All three are thrown together in the ultimate fight for their lives and their bodies.
A great story about the value of a human life. A really fast read-I can tell why students are going crazy over this futuristic thriller. You can't help but root for the underdogs. A great read for anyone.
