The mice are all curious to a new 'object' that has taken refuge near their watering hole. None of them can agree on what it is, and have many different views. It isn't until the seventh mouse takes a greater look that all of their views come together and form the "big picture." This book teaches children that just because they believe their view of something is correct, doesn't mean that someone else's is not.
