Read from September 08 to 17, 2011

This book starts off really strong, then begins to drag in the middle as Jacoby discusses the '60's and in the final few chapters the entire book falls apart. What starts off as a promising examination of America's relationship with anti-intellectualism, and illogical thoughts quickly becomes a snobbish check list of things Susan Jacoby simply does not like.
