I expected that this book was going to take me down the traditional, tried and true retelling of a classic fairy tale with a modern bent. Thankfully, that was not the case. The book has some flaws, but once I realized where the book was going I stayed along for the ride. Intriguing, creative and thought-provoking, Hunt takes you on a ride that brings you so far beyond the traditional Snow White fairy tale that you'll be amazed. And I liked that.

My main critique is that I found the beginning a bit slow, but I'm so glad that I kept reading because the book's a lot of fun. There are some great themes found within that are of importance in today's vain world: How important is physical beauty and what does true love mean? It's an easy read that is partly disturbing and keeps you thinking after you read it. Well worth the price!
