I really wanted to like this book, but the style of writing was like reading a ::snooze:: textbook. I'm sorry to say this because I even listened to an interview with the author, Heidi Swinton (http://mormonchannel.org/programs/con...), and really enjoyed hearing about her process in writing about President Monson.

I guess once you have read John Adams by David McCullough (aka, greatest biographer ever!) it is hard to read a biography by any other author. :)

I do love reading and hearing stories from President Monson's life. He has inspired me to be more careful in the small day-to-day interactions with others. I want to uplift others more and try to be a person through whom they can feel the Savior's love.
