This story is a spin off of the original tale Goldilocks And The Three Bears. James Marshall creates an unorthodox tale that portrays Goldilocks as a sort of a misbehaved and rude child as the text says, “But to tell the truth Goldilocks was one of those naughty little girls who do exactly as they please”. The overall tale says how Goldilocks is rebellious of her mother’s requests. I found the story quite funny and the illustrations are entertaining as well as colorful and funny.
