I wasn't very impressed with this book. I think that the ending was a bit anti-climatic, but I guess that's pretty true to life. Tyler's character is slightly unbelievable but the situations he finds himself in may be realistic. He's got a lot of family issues that young adults can relate to, a sibling who is concerned with being popular, a mother who tries to keep up the facade of a happy family, and a father who is over-stressed and over-worked who has an unreasonable temper.

I'm not sure if I would recommend this book to people. I think there is some unnecessary language and Tyler is definitely a teenage boy. As a narrator that might make some people a little uncomfortable.
