Read in January, 1998

Read mostly because it was all over the place at the time. It's awfully depressing, but I guess he's a pretty good writer. The one thing that drove me absolutely crazy was that his reference to "Lake Cayuga" near Cornell. I live near there - I've only EVER heard anyone call it Cayuga Lake. I guess it means he just didn't do QUITE enough research. Just asking one local would probably have prevented this. Oh well.
