Quinten and the boys are back for another season of the Galactic Football League!

By now fans of the series are probably used to the format...Off Season...Season...Post Season...with story galore between the scenes.

Sigler again does a great job of bringing the excitement and drama of football to the written page, with alot of off the field action and drama being brought into it as well. You aren't just reading a football game here.

Characters in any book are important, and with these books, you really get a sense of the comradere and family type atmosphere team-mates have with each other. Fights, Love, Hate, its just another day in the Kraken Family Household.

This time around the Krakens have returned to Tier One since avoiding relegation in the Starter. The book was a fantastic book, but I don't think held up to the standards of the other two. Part of the reason is that the "twists" that were set up, were kind of foreshadowed and very easily to pick out straight from the beginning. Another reason is that he builds up really big games, and then just kind of glosses over the actual game. Which is really un-fortunate because when he's on, he's on, when writing about the on-field action.

That being said, the off field action is what really brings the book together and really makes this book shine. The book is definately NOT about football to me, but more like football is a catalyst to the characters and to the situations, which are very well woven together.

5-stars, the book is fantastic, The Rookie and the Starter...even better in my opinion, but you don't want to pass this up either. Can't wait for the next installment since he decided to leave this book on a FUCKING CLIFFHANGER!!!
