This is the fourth book in the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series, and I suspect it is the last. And just like the other three books before it, the girls are alternately annoying, endearing, totally familiar, and completely human.

In this book, the girls have been away at college all year. Now, the pants aren't just for the summer anymore - they're for all year, because they are apart all year. They are living seperate lives for the first time ever. Lena is in a summer art program at her university, and trying desperately to (you guessed it) get over Kostos. Bridget is flying off to an archaelogy dig in Turkey, where she will once again get herself involved with an older, and totally inappropriate man. Tibby is in a summer film program at NYU, and is involved with Brian, until she isn't. And Carmen, in probably the most compelling storyline, has spent the year losing herself, becoming invisible and losing self esteem, and she is now in a summer theatre program, where she has ...more
