Abby's review
Salvation on Sand Mountain: Snake-Handling and Redemption in Southern Appalachia
by Dennis Covington
20/20 was your favorite show too? I was just saying the other night to my husband (Andy) how I LOVED that show as a kid. It may have been a tie with Perfect Strangers. Either way...Friday night TV rocked!
Your comment no longer goes with my review of this book, since I took out the part about 20/20.
However, I read it again and I thought it was funny that you'd say "...to my husband (Andy) how I loved..."
It would probably make more sense to say "...to Andy (my husband) how I loved..." than the way you said it, assuming you are clarifying things for people reading your comment who do not know who your husband is.
Like someone might read it and think "Who is Andy?", and that would make it necessary for you to put in parentheses that he is your husband. However, no one is going to read it and think "her husband? Man, I wonder what is name is??!", leading you to put his name in parentheses for them.

to-read
I was reading this book, but I finally had to return it to the library because they called to announce that they had bought me FIVE new books that I requested, all at the same time. I am afraid those will disappear. And it looks like no one wants to read my book here about snake handlers, so it should still be around in the future, when I go to check it out again.
