** spoiler alert ** I honestly expected this book to be better than it was. Knowing it was called Double Identity, it soon was obvious that she was going to look exatly like someone else. Not long after, it was clear that it was going to be her sister. I was not convinced with the clning story, and I think it took away from the mystery of the book. It is just not convincing. I enjoyed the story about her sister, and how she was killed, and I very mcuh enjoyed Bethany's cousin who had rown up with Bethany's sister. The erratic behavior of the parents as a littl discncerting also, as I realy had a hard time believing that they could leave her so easily with Myrlie. The characters, for the most part, were well developed and believable, but the end was not, where the man came looking for the younger version of himself that was neve created. The sci-fi for me was just too much.
