This book was a nice introduction to sociopathy - what it is like to be a sociopath and how folks with their consciences intact can protect themselves from sociopaths. Easy to read with good case examples. Stout also ends with a nice section on why we should be grateful for our conscience even if it limits us from achieving the astounding heights that some sociopaths aspire to.

My only wish is that the book were longer. It is a nice introduction but further reading will have to be done if one wants to truly understand sociopathy. However, I would definitely recommend this book even if it might make you (like it did to me) a little paranoid about the possible sociopaths you might know (statistically 1 in 25!).
