Excellent historical set in India. This is a story about friendship on the surface, but more importantly about how the grief and pain of the past can come back to haunt and destroy the present and taint the future.

The supernatural elements of this story are balanced by the humanity that sparks them.

The feel is exotic and gothic all at once.
