Have been hearing so much about this one, am eager to check it out.

Ok, I'm a bad person. I was so disappointed in this book - I think all the hype ruined it. No doubt, Randy's got some great advice on childhood dreams and living into them. But, I've read better 'how to live life' books for sure. Books by Pema Chodron, Cheri Huber and Jack Kornfield to name a few authors. Though they aren't quite the same. But it just wasn't as profound as I was hoping. Clearly, this book has touched a LOT of people and in light of getting a very dismal prognosis of cancer, I'm still impressed and inspired by Randy's presence of mind.

Ellen I've read so many good reviews, but I fear the schmaltz factor on this one.

Margaret Okay, I was already intrigued about this one before reading the comments so I'm looking forward to your review, Kelley.

Kelley No pressure, guys! HA! I'll have the kleenex at the ready!

Kerry I enjoyed this book because I read it as if he were a fried of mine. A quirky college friend who was very bright and had very strongly held opinions naviagating the ride of his life.

I think what gets lost in the hype is the grace and the bravery in this book. If you read the book, watch him on youtube and think of the context of all the media this man has attracted you get an idea of just how much passion he has for life.

I cannot be dismissive of this book as long as I bear in mind this was written honestly by a man in pain who made something great out of his fear.

Well done.
