Sydney Sage is still in charge of protecting Jill Dragomir but now there's even more problems, including Sydney's new boyfriend...
I loved this book even more than Bloodlines
. Mainly because of the delightful Adrian. He's still self-medicating and he's still breaking my heart. And finally, Sydney seems to be realizing what a nice (if crazy) guy he is.
There's plenty of intrigue and danger, with a new secret, sword-wielding organization and the brooding Dimitri is still on hand to keep all and sundry safe.
The most boring aspect of the book is Sydney's boyfriend. Everyone in the group finds him so dull that they can't even remember his name. (view spoiler)[And Adrian's kiss certainly makes Sydney forget it. (hide spoiler)]
