This volume contains 3 novels. I've finished the first only. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre.

I've finally finished all 3 novels. This was my introduction to Michael Connelly and I thoroughly enjoyed all 3. The main character, Mickey Haller, is likeable, even though he is capable of underhandedness and deceit (usually within the letter of the law) and the plots kept me interested to the last page. I was surprised to learn that the author has not practiced law because he appears to be well informed on all aspects of it. I won't add any spoilers except to say that each book left a small opening - enough to let you know that there will be another book. I'm already looking forward to reading the next.
