David Duffy is one of those authors whose bio reads like a suspicious account and therefore is probably very accurate. He has had an intriguing life and this is his first book, or so I believe. Set in New York, featuring an ex-Chekist as a private eye, the book is filled with a fascinating tale of money laundering and russian malfeasence. And a nice twist to a false flag operation in Russia that might have started a war and rigged an election. There are some great characters but a few real loose ends left dangling at the end of the story. Over-all a great read.
