it was amazing
bookshelves: children-teen, contemporary

This was a really cute kids' story. It was a lot of fun to read. The thing that I liked the most, though, was the format. That's the English teacher in me coming through. I had never seen a book written in this type of format. It's the kids all giving statements to the police, so the story is told from about 7 different points of view to get the story across. Some of the little clips are only a few lines long from each character and some are several pages from the same character. I love the format and will have to use it next time I teach a story.
