An Elephant in the Garden
by Michael Morpurgo

This book was a really good read. It was a very easy read as well. I think those who would like this book would like The Diary Of Anne Frank and Number The Stars. You get a lot of different view points during WWII/The Holocaust specifically from the view point of a German family. They meet a Canadian soldier (enemy soldier) and look after an elephant and their lives change forever. The ending is really great, I was almost in tears.
