Two authors have united and created a novel that will have you pondering the unthinkable. Mysterious and devilish.
You'll definitely be staying up late into the night.

Alan has always been happy living in Oklahoma. He plans to eventually get a scholarship to play football in college. He has never known his father but is still proud of his Navajo Indian heritage and researches what he can about his background. His mother doesn't like it much, but she deals with it. The most awesome thing? Onawa, his totem cougar. Onawa comes to him to help him with things right before sleep or while meditating.
Now, Alan has to move. Why? Alan's cousin Courtney lives in Maine and her dad has disappeared. This happens in his line of work. Alan's mom has decided to move in with her sister so they don't have to sell the house. This now football!
Courtney isn't the friendliest to Alan either. The one person who is catching Alan's eye is named Aimee, and she just happens to be Courtney's best friend. Problem is, she has a boyfriend.
When Alan first got to town he noticed a few people seemed kind of edgy. It now seems to be getting worse. Courtney is nice one minute, hateful the next. The same thing with others in the town, except, Courtney is much, much worse. Aimee is the only one that isn't acting all deranged it seems. So when Aimee comes to him to ask if he sees things in his dreams why does he lie? Why doesn't he just open up? Aimee thinks it all has something to do with the death of her mother and the river man. Alan thinks the Ghost Sickness is coming. Either way it isn't good. And it must be stopped.
