Normally I'd rather eat food than read about food. This is an exception. Molly is an extremely talented writer, being a regular contributor to Bon Appetite and has her own blog, Orangette. Preparation and enjoyment of food was an integral part of her childhood and a way for her family to bond over meals. When her father unexpectedly came down with cancer, Molly assumed some of the family responsibility for recipes and traditions. Her pseduo-memoir describes time spent in France, her indecisiveness regarding her original career, and her trials and tribulations with romance. All of her memories are infused with food, the good, the bad, and the delicious.

Also included are wonderful, easy to follow recipes. I made heavy use of the photocopier before returning. Molly also opened Delancy's, an Italian restaurant in the Ballard neighborhood Seattle. First on my to-eat list.
