really liked it
bookshelves: fiction, mystery
Read from September 01 to 03, 2011

This was an enjoyable book, combining mystery, action and parallel merging timelines. Although dated 2023, it is not sci-fi or alternative reality, just a good story including a creatively described competition for the main character, a female ex-homicide detective who becomes entangled in a murder. A typical short novel in length, it is a good read and a real page-turner. The author has several other titles as well as a series of five Detective Jackson novels which would be worth seeking out.

I received this novel in eBook format from the author in exchange for an honest review.
