Snare was another story from Michael's POV and, while I have to admit that I like being in Bill's had just a tad bit better, it was good to be privy to Michael's thoughts and feelings again. Because despite of what he did last book, it's clear that he loves and appreciates Wild Bill. The two of them are just such a perfect team.

I'm interested to see where the story is going. JCP just takes this series an extra mile by her overarching sub plots: causes and workings of vampirism, Michael's condition, the effect of further transitions on on our happy couple's future -bit by bit the puzzle pieces are starting to fit together....
Another JCP thing is the somewhat dry and resigned relay of events by the character. It just works for me every time. That and those funny details like the crazy (poor) pygmy goat.
Onto the next one!
