Not as good as the previous book by this author "Equador".
The story of the main characters seems to not to haver an end in itself, like their decisions are coming from a place the author presents you but that is still not very clear to you. The brothers Pedro and Diogo are human beings with completely different beliefs and their differences settle the course for the action but you don't feel how much the book is about this because of the never ending amount of happenings in their lives.
Overall it was a good reading, some times a bit too deep in historic background which left some gaps in character development. I feel like more could have been written about these characters since their ending is a little bit wishy washy in some way....
