I gave this book 4 stars because it started off a little strange and slow. It started out with his parents getting drunk and trying to kill him which I found very strange. Then of course his parents couldnt keep him so he went to live with his uncle and cousin. When that happened he became real good friends with his cousin and they started bonding by hunting. After a while they found an old cabin with an old guy named the "Foxman." They kept visiting him often to find out why he lives alone out in the middle of nowhere and his face is scared and abused. I can really connect with the book because both the boys are the same age as me.
