really liked it
bookshelves: contemporary, youngadult
Read from June 28 to 30, 2013

Utterly delightful! I fully understand why this book is so well loved! Perkins (in her first novel, no less!) presents us with a wonderful cast of characters, including a narrator I would actually like to be friends with, and a boy who makes me wish I was twenty years younger. It's a fun setting, it's a fun premise. Heavier plot elements about family issues and school are handled with a light touch, and the story is engaging and believable.

Jacob Proffitt I liked the second almost as much as this first one, though in a completely different way.

Crystal Anderson I agree with Jacob. I adored the first book, and loved the second as well but in a different way. Can't wait for her next book!
