Jodi Picoult has become my favorite author over the past year. I love her controversial themes and her story telling technique. Reminds me alot of another favorite, Chris Bojalian. Small New England town, something contrversial happens, a mystery is unvelied usually involving lawyers and a trial to tell the story backwards which is always more complicated and never quite what it seems. In this case - a school shooting (eerie that this book came out right about the time of the VA Tech shooting). The question is why did the kid do it and if I told you, I'd ruin the book. Throughly engrossing.
