liked it

It is after I saw the movie with Sally Field that I felt compelled to read the novel. To my surprise and delight the novel does dive much deeper into the life of "Sybil," and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good psychological read. The imagery was very descriptive and realistic, further heightening my interest to continue reading. The pace was a bit to slow in some areas of the book, there were times I found it hard to maintain interest and was discouraged from reading. I always take advantage of such instances because I am able to play the role of an evaluator and see what lead me astray and what, as I writer, I would/could change in order to maintain a readers interest to continue following along. Overall I enjoyed its realism, the psychological experience and vivid imagery.
