really liked it
Read from August 31 to September 07, 2011

Two Years, No Rain is a well-written story about a down and out regular guy. Shawn Klomparens illustrates how every person has a story. Each character had a complicated life and a voice; each character was well-developed. I really felt for Andy, the protagonist, and was eager to turn the page to learn what happened to him.

Klomparens covers many subjects in great detail: meteorology, sailing, video animation, teenagers, as well as a quick trip to Hong Kong. He did his research!

I got a kick out of the subtext of the title. It was a good story and a quick read.

Four stars.
