If you read for location, you will *love* this book. I'm more of a read-for-character gal so I wasn't as bowled over as other readers. Still, the last 100 pages were awesome. Morgenstern performs a writer's magic in creating a whole new world with her circus. It was a delight to explore each and every tent.

Celia and Marco are both "entered" into a mysterious competition when they are both very young. All they know is they will be competing against someone but they don't who, what they are competing for or even why they are competing. What happens when they discover each other and decide to take over their own fates? It is a good read, indeed.
