We begin with three college friends, two young women and a man. It sounds like the set up for a typical love triangle romance, don't worry. There's far more going on with this group of characters.
Marisa De Los Santos takes these three young people, Pen, Will, and Cat, and gives then conversational quirks, deep beliefs, human errors, and the hardship of losing a parent. They love one another as friends until they don't.
The blow-up among them leaves each adrift. A college reunion promises to help them sort things out, but it's not that easy. To say they would travel to the ends of the earth to redeem their friendship is putting it lightly. Their travel destination is described in enchanting detail. I am ready to book my tickets!
What emerges is a portrait of people growing, changing, and learning to live their lives with joy, dumping guilt and past grievances.
"Falling Together" is an uplifting and powerful story of friendship, finding love, and looking at the world each day with the idea of living the moment for its beauty. Highly recommended!

?? My review? I do not get paid for my reviews, sad to say. Did you not like the book? I loved it as you read above.
I thought the book was TERRIBLE! It was wordy and poorly written, very confusing. I couldn't finish despite several attempts as this was our book club selection. Most in our club had the same experience. I'm glad you enjoyed it but there are so many more wonderful books out there.
So sad! Books are like anything else. Some love one thing, some another. Maybe I have such a close connection because one of my daughter's best friends is Filipino and her family was a lot like that.My try Mona Simpson's "My Hollywood," which is about a Filipino nanny for rich people in LA. She is a wonderful character. Happy reading! e
