Book six in the series continues the cycle about the two cheetah litters with Cass's story. The mix of a cheetah shifter, a vampire and a shape shifter (who can shift into anything) was interesting; the trauma these guys have to deal with was serious. And not just the internal issues coming form their past, but the external ones as well.

Cass carries more guilt than anyone should be asked to accept. The thing is, he shouldn't have accepted it either - but it takes him a while to get the message. Logan is a vampire with issues of his own - a lover, no less. And Merrick? Well, he may not have too many issues with the mating, but he is part of Cass's past, so that doesn't go down well. Add a bunch of new external enemies and an unfolding bigger story plot that ties them to the Hunters and you have an explosive mixture.

If you like shifter stories with multiple-species menages, characters with more psychological traumas than is healthy and a battle with almost invincible enemies, you will probably like this book.
