Read on January 01, 1988, read count: Once is enough

Compelling, sad, and makes-me-want-to-scream kind of book. It is her truth, whether we believe or not. With so much being reported about child abuse and it being in the forefront of media stories; it is not so hard to believe in 2011. When I first read this back in the 80s; it was. It was a subject that was hushed up and swept under the rug. How tragic for this little girl and her brother. At some point you have to grow up, let go and move on. I hope this helped her to do all three. I got it.
