After You'd Gone by Maggie O'Farrell
** spoiler alert **
I liked The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox, so I decided to try an earlier novel by O'Farrell. The descriptions are excellent, the characterization of Alice and Ann are well done, but the male character development needs a bit more work. At times, the prose is stunning. I'm still trying to figure out if Alice died or not.....
